    Hi Pete, the slideshows are not full width, they need a fixed height and width, which is the maximum dimensions for the slideshow. Below those dimensions, the slideshow will scale down to fit smaller areas, but it won’t scale up beyond the max.

    That being said, you can set a very large width that matches your slideshow image size, which will make the slides full width on screens that size or smaller, with the slides centered above that size.

    Hi Josh, OK thank you. It sounds like I need to make the slides at least as wide or wider than my combined width for a page (sidebar + page)

    Could I trouble you for a suggested shortcode for that purpose please.

    I haven’t used the slide show for some time ??

    Yes, making it at least the width of your full content area would be a good idea. If you want to center the slideshow on wider screens you can do that using this shortcode:
