Full page header, background and container help :(

  • Im a bit new to wordpress, and have been following the tutorials I have ot build a new theme. I am having some trouble with my theme looking like my html. I am not sure if the header in my index.html is possible for wordpress, so I thought I would ask if someone could help. I know my header.php code is very wrong, but any and all help with my code would be wonderful. Thank you. I included the code for review. Be gentle lol.Anyone who could help me make this work would be much appreciated. the header, footer and static code is here.
