    Hi all.
I have a popup template designed in Elementor Pro using a form for subscription. There are 2 fields; Full Name and Email Address. The form is connected to Brevo/SendInBlue using MailOptin Lite.
What used to happen is the popup was triggered on my site and the details were entered into the boxes, an email was sent to that email address from Brevo for Double Opt-In Confirmation. The template on Brevo is designed using contact attributes so that the email the person receives sees their first name in the email header and body.
The issue I have now is that the email sender’s name doesn’t appear in the body or header.
The full name is being saved in Elementor > Submissions, but they’re not being forwarded to Brevo.
If I enter my full name, i.e my first name and my surname into the field ‘Full Name’ (and my email address in the appropriate field) into the popup, a few weeks or so ago when I tried a test, I would get the ‘success’ message on the popup, then a few seconds later I would receive an email asking me to confirm that I wanted to subscribe (Double Opt-In Confirmation, built from a template on Brevo), and it would have my first name in the email header and also in the first line of the body of the email.
When I do the same test now, the ‘name’ details don’t get added to the email.
I thought at first it may be an issue with that particular popup, so I made a new, very basic one to test and the same issue is there.
I also tried adding an extra field so there would be ‘First Name’, and ‘Last Name’, but it’s the same.
The same problem persists on mobile and if I use a different browser.
I’ve checked and double-checked all the IDs and shortcodes and anything else that might be causing it, and everything looks good.
That’s where my technical know-how ends though, so I’m hoping there’s someone out there with a big brain who can help!

    Hi
When I first started using Brevo and the attributes were appearing on the very first contact email sent, it appears that it was a bug and shouldn’t have been happening.
There is a legal issue with where the data from the form is stored of the person filling out their details, so that info is not kept on Brevo until the person has sent back the DOI email and you can see it in your contacts.
    I hope that makes sense!

    Hello there,

In general, personalization in mail is only possible for contacts which have been imported into Brevo. This means that the contacts attributes (name, email etc.) have to be present in the Brevo contact list at the time the mail is sent.

Please also note, that we cannot provide support for third party plugins/integrations (like Elementor). Even if the above mentioned conditions are met, we cannot guarantee that they are going to work for mails, send third party plugins, if they do not comply with our requirements.

    Best regards,
