FB wall posts only support thumbnails – you can’t post full images unless you are uploading a photo, which Wordbooker currently does not support.

I guess what I meant is… when using Wordbooker, the thumbnail posted on FB is on the left side with text on the right. Now, let’s say I manually copy and paste the link to the WordPress blog post in FB (without using Wordbooker), the image is full width with text on the bottom. So that is what I’m trying to achieve… having the full width image. I included an example of what I mean below.

    TIA!

What version of Wordbooker are you using? What option are you using to post to Facebook? The API should work with full width images but it seems to be problematical if the images aren’t quite big enough. I’m troubleshooting the issue so I can work up a bug report for Facebook.

I’m using version 2.1.40 and my settings can be seen on this screen captured image below in link.

Can you try posting as a share rather than a wall post.

I need to look into why it behaves like this but its been a rough couple of weeks topped off with my central heating failing at the weekend and my car ending up in the garage today….

Do you mean under the option “Post to the following Wall” ? I can’t seem to find a “Share” option.

Sorry for the bad few weeks. They always seem to happen in December.

It should in the drop down of Post types at the end of the line – its “As a Link”

Sorry, can’t seem to locate it. I do see “Enable Extended description for Share Link” check mark box… that’s it. What is the exact wording on it?

Extended description for Share link allows you to use the Excerpt for the text for the link share… can’t remember if its in the user guide or not.

Where you set the two walls you want to post to (at the user level) each one of those has a drop down at the end allowing you to set the sort of post you want to make.

Got it. It’s currently set “As a Wall Post” for both. Should I set it for “As a Note,” “As a Status Update,” or “As a Link?”

    As a link….

Perfecto! Best support ever received for a plug-in!

    Thanks and happy holidays!
