I’ve had great success using this plugin to retweet some old posts that deserved more attention. The plugin really allows you to customize your tweets the way you want it, for instance by pulling the text from a custom field, or just tweeting the title. Starting with the new version, you can now also post to your Facebook or to a Facebook Page.

Also noteworthy, the developers are really responsive and helpful with support requests.
