• Multisite.
    EM – version 5.6.2
    FCal – version 1.1
    Global Tables
    Global events on main blog
    locations on main blog.

I see a few queries where it seems to have been fixed or updated with rollbacks of either EM or FC
However the multisite install we are using shows no events when Full Cal is activated>

It is unclear if there has been a fix or if folks are rolling back > could you please advise

do you have sample link to your site with this issue for us to see and analyze please?

It is the same problem that several people have already noted.
When fullcalendar is active nothing shows on any page it is on.
When it is deactivated the standard Events calendar displays

So what is the issue here, do users need to pay to get support for Events?
All tickets leave this user in a position of limbo.

If I have to pay to get support – this is one thing but the assistance leaves an uneasy feeling – pay and get the same assistance leaving sites using it with no events displaying.
    No global search etc.

    in essence not reliable.

Could someone from the dev team please advise.
If I PAY for Support will it be forthcoming?
How long would I have to further wait to get the one site Events are left on to function – View calendar – global search?

just to confirm, you’ve wanted to show all your multisite subsite events on the calendar?

    Thread Starter BeHeard

    (@beheard)

I am unsure what the problem is.

    Yes it is a multisite.
Yes the default calendar displays all subsite events
Yes the Full calendar did previously display all subsite events.

Update – WP = EM and FC
resulted in any page or post using Full calendar displaying nothing.

I note in the forum many people with the same issue.
Marcus noted a problem with the update and library process.
    Some users rolled back
    some implied it fixed itself…

The multisite it is on – does not display anything at all including a calendar when FULL calendar is active or chosen in the setup

Add – NOTE testing in CHROME and IE (these are the major browsers the users for this site use)

    hi again,

I tried this one and seems to be working fine and subsite events are displayed in the main site wpfc page?

do you have sample link to your site for us to see?

Where can I post a private link.

I note there continues to be more postings of missing calendar pages here.
I also note as another poster the multisite in question is using subdomains.

As noted repeatedly there are a number of users still without a calendar using Full calendar
The fix that was enabled with updated 1.1 apparentley did fix for some users and not others.
    What are we to do?

@beheard, i also have a problem in multisite, do you find a solution ?

    Thread Starter BeHeard

    (@beheard)

No solution and only support that goes round in circles.

or It seems to be working fine.

Dissapointing all round as it is such a great plugin.
There was an issue with Full Calendar and the new library proceedures which was fixed but alas some of us still have NO WORKING solution.

    Are you also using AutoOptimise?
If so try deactivating Or excluding WPFUll calendar from the JS file

@beheard Sorry for the delayed reply.

I’ve tested this out myself now, and I’m also getting this to work without any issues.

What would have been helpful is to see the problem on your site.

There’s two types of common problems, one is the calendar loads but events don’t show, the other is the calendar isn’t showing at all. What’s the situation in your case?

If the calendar isn’t showing at all, there’s usually two reasons:

    • In the WPFC settings, you have an incorrect value in the ‘Load JS and CSS files on’ option, try leaving that blank.
    • you have a javascript conflict with another theme or plugin, it’s pretty certain that’s the issue.

If the events aren’t showing, it may be an Events Manager issue but it could be other things too, again we need to see it in action to start with.

I’d suggest you try updating to the latest WPFC 1.2 and also the EM dev version which has a WPFC specific fix. To upgrade to Dev – https://wp-events-plugin.com/documentation/upgrade-dev-version/
