• I’m looking for a nice way to do some house keeping tasks. I have an active set of woocommerce products that get stock photos, than we might take images ourselves. If there’s a failure or a need to do a full refresh I end up doing that from time-to-time. This leaves A LOT of unattached images in our media library.

Can this plugin be full autonomous? Seems to be solid nothing deleted that shouldn’t have. A risk I’d be willing to take to maintain a clean install.

Would be nice as others have mentioned to isolate to specific post types. Than I really wouldn’t care because the systems for my purpose self heal should an image go missing. But only for products.

It’s possible to do but that’s really dangerous, only for a very specific purpose and only yours ?? You could actually ask a developer to extend this plugin for you, for your needs, but I am not sure this should be added in the core. Of course if I am being asked a lot I would eventually do it but it’s the first time I hear about this ?? Actually with this plugin I try to stay more on the safe side, whatever action I add that give the users more chance to delete files bring… also issues here on the forum.

Understand, I did run into some issues. Related to Options area (through ACF), and headway importing. Unqiue to my situation – I’m going to still fully run this just making sure I’m ready for a couple of broken images. At 6GB site, and 30K images I need to do some spring cleaning.

Any way to restrict it to a particular post or in my case WooCommerce Products?

We can’t do that. But if it did, how? The way the plugin works is that is go through the images in the Media Library or the filesystem and check if they are in use. How would you do it from the posts, or a particular post?
