FTP test not passed

    I’m having a problem with FTP setup.

    I receive the message:
    PHP Fatal error (Error) has occurred during test_storage_settings subaction. Error Message: Call to undefined function ftp_connect() (Code: 0, line 44 in /volume1/web_packages/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/updraftplus/includes/ftp.class.php)

    I can add folders via FileZilla so my credentials should be OK.

    On the top op UpdraftPlus I see the message:
    Waarschuwing: De PHP-installatie van de webserver heeft deze functies uitgeschakeld: ftp_connect, ftp_login, ftp_nb_fput. De hostingprovider moet deze functies activeren voordat reguliere niet-versleutelde FTP kan werken.

    Can anyone help me?

    David. THe hosting provider that’s me. I’m running the site from without my Synology NAS. I tried to find something but don’t know were to change this. Do you have any idea?

    Please check how to enable FTP on your Synology NAS.

    Hello Bryle.
    FTP is setup correctly at Synology NAS.
    I can access NAS by Filzilla.
    Do you know how to change settings in WordPress so it can handle non encrypted data?
