FTP settings Test result: Log-in ok, but no permissions to directory

    Hello, I would like to switch from BackWPup to UpdraftPlus

    Now I’m trying to set up the FTP server and I always get the answer during the test:

    “FTP setup test result: Error: We were able to log in successfully, but could not create a file in the specified directory. * PHP event: code E_WARNING: ftp_nb_fput(): Permission denied. (line 93, wp-content/plugins/updraftplus/includes/ftp.class.php)”

    I have chosen the exact same directory where BackWPup stores the data. Why can one plug-in use this directory and the other not?
