FTP permission was rewritten to read

    I used to File manager plugin in two sites, but when i had ftp access, I deactivated plugin. after that i got my ftp permission changed to read(-rw-r-r–) for files that i had uploaded. As you know, i can’t change permission through non pro version. It seems like not just random bug. How can i return my write permission, but not buy pro version and aren’t using cPanel?

    You can’t change the file permission from file permission. It is not the purpose of file manager. It will open security issue on your site if it was done that way.

    You have to use cPanel to change the file permission or by other means.
