FTP Gallery does not show

I have created the gallery for my client and when I go to select where the ftp gallery is, it does not show anything except select the ftp gallery. Can anyone help me with this as I have been unable to get a response from support since last week. I thought this was going to make life easier but I cannot find any documentation on selecting the ftp gallery.
