• Hi, maybe this is an easy question, but I’m really lost. I have wordpress installed on my server, and everything was great until my server password got reseted. Now I try to upload images and it doesn’t let me, and assume is because the password wordpress had to upload to the ftp has changed.
What I can’t find is the place to update that ftp password in wordpress.. any leads?
    Thanks in advance!

  • You don’t update it in WordPress; you update it in your FTP client and/or at your host.

Yes, I know, but isn’t there a place in the dashboard or the mysql base (I only opened that on the wordpress installation),where you allow wordpress to enter to your ftp to upload files? maybe I remember it wrong..

I’ve seen the FTP info being asked when you install or delete a plugin, but never for adding images (at least not through the media library).

but isn’t it the same? not that the media library has asked me that, but if there’s a part where the ftp info is wrong, wouldn’t that affect the other parts?

What exactly is the error message you’re seeing?
