FTP Backup is not triggered

    Hi,

    I got one backup task with a backup on a FTP server. BackWPup does create the archive on the local folder but doesn’t not even try to connect FTP server

    [INFO] BackWPup 3.6.0 ; Un projet de Inpsyde GmbH
[INFO] WordPress 4.9.6 sur MY CONFIDENTIAL WEB SITE
[INFO] niveau de suivi : Normal (traduit)
[INFO] Tache BackWPup : Backup Global
[INFO] Fichier journal : backwpup_log_afe289_2018-07-17_10-12-55.html
[INFO] Fichier de sauvegarde : backwpup_FKX6FCLA02_2018-07-17_10-12-55.tar.gz

    Two things :
    – ftp backup of only the database is working well (thought there is no info about ftp transfer in the log file)
    – size of the file to transfer is over 2GB : I have a feeleing it can be a reason of the ftp transfer failure.

    Well I had to create 2 distincts backups:
    – one for all except 2015 2016 2017 upload folder (every day)
    – one for 2015 2016 2017 upload folder (once a month)

    This way the size of backups are below 2GB and it does work for me.

    I think this because of FTP server got timed out :/
    Could you please try to ask your hoster about this?

    Actually the transfer doesn’t even begin with big backups

    Thanks, for anyone getting the same issue try divide your backup in two parts. It did work for me.
