I put in a support ticket to have the ports opened with my hosting co. They asked for a specific IP to open to ports to. I asked cardconnect for the IP that we would be using, and the hosting company has opened the ports for that IP. The plugin is still throwing the same error though.

Does the plugin just check to see if the ports are open, or does it try to connect to the gateway url and then throw the error?

Resolving post as this was handled by our support team via email communication.
