fs contact form not working when in a page

  • I have the FS contact form in both a sidebar widget and on a page.

    Both seem to work in that the form is submitted and a thank you alert shown.

    However I only receive an email from the form in the sidebar.

    I can send a test email and the preview form test works as well.

    Why would the form in a page appear to work but not send the email?

    That article refers to not receiving emails, that is not my problem since as I explained the form works when used in a widget. I can’t see anything in that article that would explain why the form works in a widget and not on a page.

    What short code are you currently using in your page? Is the shortcode the same on both the widget and the page? It could be related to your theme. Just to test my theory, can you test a different theme like Twenty Fourteen?
