• Hello,

    I have noticed that FS contact form is no longer in the WP plugins market? Have you guys do it on purpose or it was just a bug?

    Thanks

  • Thanks @mikechallis for your work. The feature I got a great deal of use out of on your FSCF plugin was the way you could direct the form to different email addresses via a subject dropdown.

    I don’t suppose anyone knows a contact form that does that as well do they?

    Thanks again, Mike. I did donate when I was getting a lot out of your plugin.

    @garnishmusic Gravity Forms does this in a number of ways (email direct), and is also able to replace some of the other advanced capabilities like connecting to a remote URL, etc. Unfortunately it’s not free but worth the $$ for us as it is much more efficient to work with.

    This really sucks. I’ve got more than 20 forms on one site alone. Such a great plugin. If we update to the 4.0.56 version, it’s safe to use?

    @mw360 thanks for your reply. How much do you pay? When I looked at them, they seemed over priced. I don’t mind paying but….

    @larrystew

    I have used the FS Contact Form on 4 sites for several years. Version 4.0.56 is safe and I am still using and it has not had any issues so far with PHP 7.0 and 7.1. I check regularly for issues on localhost installations with debug. Nevertheless, it would be advisable to make plans about what you might use, should problems arise.

    Hi, I was also using this fantastic plugin for many years. I have now changed to wpforms. I highly recommend this plugin.

    Of course there are other contact forms plugins like Contact Form 7. However as @malae mentioned above you are still safe to use Fast Secure Contact Form Version 4.0.56. But eventually you will have to move on. It is up to you to start testing new contact form plugins now or wait a bit more.

    Kind regards

    By the time that happens, @mbrsolution, I hope Mike thinks about releasing a new plugin under a new name. I don’t know if I want to move on… ?? #crossingfingers

    Hi Mike,
    I’m sorry to hear that you lost the ownership of the plugin. But how can someone claims ownership that easily without your permission? Sorry, I don’t know how it works in WordPress plugins but I first thought you have sold the plugin to new owners. I really love this plugin and was going to install on my new website.
    Now I have to disable this plugin and re-do my 26 forms using a different one.
    Thanks for explaining it Mike.

    Regards,
    Prageeth

    Hi Mike,

    What a pity! I agree on all points in previous posts, Fast Secure Contact Form was also my favorite and one of WordPress best plugins, installed on 8 of my sites.

    Good luck with everything!

    Cheers,
    Stephan

    si-contact-form continues closed to WP plugins repository.
    Maybe reopen the project or create a renamed one?

    @narcisgarcia
    Read the earlier postings on this subject, it’s complicated.

    I’m always looking for completely autonomous plugins (without third parties dependencies).
    Does anybody know a good alternative for forms?
