• Ok. I apologize in advance if I sound a tad bitchy but the columns shortcode is useless.

You click it from the list and you’re told “Don’t forget to use [su_row].” So I add [su_row] and [/su_row] and the columns do whatever the hell they please.

Researching about column positioning there are like a to of different answers and I can’t find any that work. Do I use last=”0″ and last=”1″? or what?

The thing that frustrates me is I do not understand why the columns shortcode function simply doesn’t put it all in there automatically.

Anyhow, if any of y’al know what I am doing incorrectly please let me know.

  • [su_row]
    [su_column size="1/4"]TEXT FOR THE FIRST COLUMN[/su_column]
    [su_column size="1/4"]TEXT FOR THE SECOND COLUMN[/su_column]
    [su_column size="1/4"]TEXT FOR THE THIRD COLUMN[/su_column]
    [su_column size="1/4"]TEXT FOR THE FOUR COLUMN[/su_column]
    [/su_row]
    [su_row]
    [su_column size="1/4"]TEXT FOR THE FIRST COLUMN[/su_column]
[su_column]TEXT FOR THE SECOND COLUMN. The 1/2 doesn't need size=[/su_column]
    [su_column size="1/4"]TEXT FOR THE THIRD COLUMN[/su_column]
    [/su_row]
    [su_row]
    [su_column size="1/3"]TEXT FOR THE FIRST COLUMN[/su_column]
    [su_column size="1/3"]TEXT FOR THE SECOND COLUMN[/su_column]
    [su_column size="1/3"]TEXT FOR THE THIRD COLUMN[/su_column]
    [/su_row]

The shortcode plugin does one column at a time.

The catch (the reason I visited the support forum today), is that if the columns are empty it doesn’t recognize it (it won’t show up).
