Frustratingly low quality of Featured Image…
-
Hi!
I just installed, and have been tweaking, the Folder theme for my photography portfolio.
When I create posts with featured images (look here: https://portfolio.byingeborg.no/?cat=13) they turn up crappy. Photos are a major part of my blog, and I want them to look their best. The featured images are 640px, and I upload a 640px .jpg for the post, but STILL it’s so blurry and low quality. If I search up the same image in the Media section and hit View, I get to this funny little page https://portfolio.byingeborg.no/?attachment_id=320 where THE SAME image is shown in two different qualities. The header image is low quality, and the attachment image is high quality. WHY?
If you are familiar with this theme, or perhaps other themes have the same option, you can upload slider images through a different custom uploader. I am using 940px images for the slider on the front page (https://byingeborg.no/portfolio) and the quality is good there when I upload 940px .jpgs in the Slider uploader, as the images are resized to fit 940px.
I don’t get it, and I’m disappointed. The creator of Folder has no way of contact and doesn’t provide a FAQ or forum.
Thank you so much, I appreciate your help.
