Frustrated, UpDraftPlus was quick to correct things for me

  • Earlier in the year, I spent many hours seeking a solution to migrating a site from one host to another. I tried a couple solutions, none worked and they were complex in detail, as migrating is not my strong suit I turned to UpDraftPlus. Site was migrated in less than ten minutes for I think a $30 membership, good for two sites

    I will be buying the upper tier packages in the future as it breaks the price to around $9 or less on each migration. There is also an unlimited migration version dropping the per site cost lower and lower.

    Great product and shockingly quick customer service.

    Hi Daryle,

    I managed to find your ticket in our support system.

    You opened a ticket on 7th August at 20:34, and had received 3 replies within 24 hours of that. You did not reply again after that until today, and so the ‘week’ passed all on your side, not on the side of our support team.

    What you have done is to not download the zip file that shows on your account page – https://updraftplus.com/my-account/ – but the one on this page instead – https://updraftplus.com/support/installing-updraftplus-premium-your-add-on/ . If you download the zip from the account page and install that, as mentioned by our support rep in his 8th August reply to you, then you will have the correct version. I have also personally verified this my logging into your account, downloading the zip, and verifying that it contains the Migrator add-on.

    Thanks David, you solved the issue. I will be buying an upper tier package on the weekend as it is that good and I need a dozen more websites migrated over the next few weeks.

    Changed the review to five stars…
