Frustrating responsiveness

I reported a problem with this theme almost a year ago, and despite the developer getting back to me with a fix I could apply myself, and saying that they would fix the bug, every time I update the theme, the bug reappears and I have to manually edit the php file again.

The issue is with comments appearing on the wrong posts, so if this isn’t a feature you care about then perhaps this won’t trouble you. I do like the theme apart from this one frustrating bug, but having to fix it every couple of months (and ping the developer to remind them it’s still there) is getting very annoying.
