Frozen Dashboard Share Count?

  • I’m having a bit of a problem with the plugin: The share count seems to be working when looking the posts/pages columns, but the “Most Shared Content” box is not updating to show the same amount of shares of my posts. It’s been stuck at the same numbers for a while now. Only recently I saw the counts go up on ONE article, but that’s it. I tried switching the Count Source between Native and ‘SharedCount.com’ but no luck.

    The data displayed in the dashboard is “expensive” to get (or can be), so it’s cached for 24 hours. The cache should clear and those numbers will automatically adjust.

    If you want to manually delete the transient, you’ll want to look for shared_counts_dashboard_posts.

    Can you go into a little more detail? ?? I’m not sure what you mean by “look for”.
