I have run into an odd issue where in desktop mode random buttons are not clickable and most text input fields are frozen and I can’t type in them. However once I minimise it from full desktop resolution all the way to mobile the buttons and fields are fine, no issues.

I did a backup and switched to the twenty17 theme with all plug ins off and turned them on one by one and the conflict never returned. I switched back to OceanWP and with the plug ins off the bug/conflict returned.

Any help would be appreciated as I am quite stumped. Cheers

    Hi Amit!

    https://justinpunio.com

If you check the that link and also the contact page https://www.justinpunio.com/contact you can see the issue I have in desktop resolution.

    Hi,

I just visited on your site, I didn’t see any issue as you mentioned. The contact form is working fine for me.

In mobile and smaller resolutions it is fine. Did you have it in mobile res? In desktop view the menu changes from mobile menu to the stretched out desktop menu. It is then that the issue occurs.

Thanks helping me with this issue Amit, most appreciated!

I’m viewing your website on the desktop. Can you please share a screenshot of the issue.

    Hi Amit

    I’ve uploaded a screenshot here:

    Issues

I cannot click in any of the fields, or press any buttons. I’ve tried another computer to see if it was just my own, but it’s the same issue.

    Same issue in https://www.justinpunio.com/my-account/

Have you seen this issue before Amit? Thanks

No, I have not seen this type of issue before.

What is your PHP version? Try to upgrade it if it is not PHP 7.
Increase WordPress memory limit to 256M.

Amit, I am running PHP 7.0.32 set as default.

Latest version PHP 7.3.0 is available. I tried it, but the issue persists and I don’t think wordpress and my plugins are compatible with this latest PHP as the website had some errors. I changed it back to 7.3.0

Changed the WP-config-PHP WordPress memory limit to 798M, issue persists

    What else can I try?

    Hi,

I just checked your website again and didn’t see the issue. It’s very strange. Can you please confirm if it is fixed? Which browser and device you are using to view the site?

Sorry, it was a rogue bit of code, I had to go through it one by one. Thanks for the help Amit!

    You’re welcome!
