Frontpage>Slider>Static Slide content won't display edits

    When I edit the content for the Static Slide, it appears to save, in that when I click “Save and Close”, the window closes, and when I click edit again, the edits are still there, but the preview never changes and the “Saved” box at top never changes to “Save & Publish”. I have tried making changes to something else to trigger the Save & Publish button, but the changes to the slide never make it through.

    Is there somewhere I can make the changes manually outside of the customizer? I’m just trying to update a link as I moved the site from pre-propagation location to final and need to change hyperlinks over.

    Solved through persistence.

    While in the editor for the offending content, I switched the view from text (viewing the code) to visual (WYSIWYG) and the preview updated. Must be a bug in the text viewer. I was then able to click save and publish and the link edit was live.

    Hi!

    I was wondering if you could help me… for some reason I can’t even get the slider to show up on my front page. I must have removed it when I first installed the theme and would now like to get it back, so I tried uploading my own custom image and nothing showed up. I tried setting it back to the default photo, clicked save and update and it’s still not showing up! I don’t understand what I could be doing wrong.

    If you could offer any advice I’d appreciate it!

    Do you have your home page set to “latest posts”?

    I know that all the home page special stuff only displays if you have the homepage set that way.

    Hi

    Can you please go to User -> Your profile and check the box beside “Disable the visual editor when writing”. Then make the change and let us know if the issue is still there.
