Frontpage not displaying

  • A stable wordpress site I’ve been managing recently inexplicably started ignoring the Setting under “Reading” for “front page”; instead showing a regular posts page. The front page I’m using is a template that’s been working fine for many months.

    There hasn’t been any updates to the WP code, or plugins for this site that would cause this. It just started ignoring the “front page” setting altogether.

    However, when I go to what SHOULD Be the front page via permalink, it appears correctly.

    Any suggestions? Anyone run into this issue before?
