I need a little clarification on the frontend vs backend.
I use paid membership pro and also have a forum on the WP site. (wpforo)
I want other countries to be able to read articles, but not sign up for forum, or as a user / subscriber, etc. So does the BACKEND blocking keep them from doing that or is that still a “frontend” thing? Hope that is clear enough. I just want people from say “Russia” to be able to read it, but not sign in or sign up for anything.
    Thanks

Frontend refers to all the pages that accessible by your visitor.

While the backend refers to /wp-admin which you login to manage your WordPress.

I guess what I’m trying to do is keep visitors from certain countries from being able to signup as USERS or Subscribers. I was hoping that action would be backend but I guess it still falls into the front.
