Can you please give us an idea of how to place the serial validation form on the frontend for any visitor to check validity, so we can build a stolen items database?

    Thanks

  • Hi @daveyuk,

    Thanks for reaching out.

We offer a convenient feature for your customers to validate their keys directly from your website.

To grant access, you simply need to add the following shortcode.
    The shortcode: [wc_serial_numbers_validation_form product_id=”0″].
Insert this into the desired page where you would like it to be displayed.

Also, to activate/deactivate keys directly from front-end, you can use the following shortcode:

    [wc_serial_numbers_activation_form product_id=”0″].

Let us know if this helps.

    Thankyou.

Can the shortcode be edited to remove the email address required.

In the second example, what is “instance”?

    Hi @daveyuk,

To remove the email address requirement, you’ll need the assistance of a developer.

Please note that we do not offer coding support.

    What is “instance”?

Instance is the unique identifier of the activation record. It is used to identify the activation when activating/deactivating the serial key.
