Frontend Submissions Compatibility

Love this widget and functionality it provides.
I use Front End Submissions (FES) add-on and am wondering how to configure this widget to allow file uploads using FES and link these files to the Document meta in EDD Download Info?
Any help or guidance is much appreciated.
