frontend login no longer possible after upgrading from 7.0.15 to 7.1

Hi,
after upgrading from 7.0.15 to 7.1 I get these errors in the console after clicking on the login button (and thus frontend login is no longer possible):
Uncaught TypeError: can’t access property “errors”, a.data is undefined

Please let me know what to do about this.
