    Hi,

First, thank you for this great extension, it works great as I could test for wp default login.

I would like to know if it is possible to add compatibility with Peepso frontend login form, allowing custom style (hidding default wp logo for example… whitelabel). I tested it, when the user is loged in, the shortcode for user settings works perfect, but when enabled and loged out, it blocks the login for the user (the two factor security layer does not show up).

Please can you make possible the integration? (@peepso @davidanderson)

Thank you very much in advance

    Best regards

    Hi,

If the authors of Peepso can call the standard login-form actions on their page, and are using the same field names as the normal WP login form, then it will ‘just work’ without needing any special support in the TFA plugin. That would be the best way, because then their login form will also ‘just work’ with other plugins that try to modify the login form too (that’d be much better than every plugin needing an individual modification).

    Hi,

Thank you for the information. I will post the topic on their support wall to see if it is achievable. Hopefully this can be done, your extension is really good. If not, is there any posibility to get in touch with peepso team in order to integrate the extension (as I saw you did with other plugins on the forum)?

Do you plan to add e-mail as a second option for 2 factor auth?

    Thank you very much

    Best regards

    Hi,

If you’re interested in funding the coding of an integration with a third party plugin, then please do get in touch with us at https://www.simbahosting.co.uk. Given the low number of users of that plugin, at this point, an integration is only going to benefit a tiny number of people (probably only yourself given that it’s not been asked for before). The ones we have existing integrations either have many users, or were funded by someone who had a personal interest.

Email isn’t a true second factor because if someone has access to your email account then they can send a password reset email there, as well as the ‘second’ factor code. i.e. Both factors are accessible from one place. Hence, we don’t have an option for it.
