Front Page(index.php) slow on Humen 3.3.9

  • When using Hueman 3.1.3, my front page was generated very quickly, and after upgrade to Hueman 3.3.9, my front page was generated from 11 to 21 seconds. To verify this slow problem, I switch back to 3.1.3, front page is back normal and very quick.

    Only front page (hueman index.php) has this problem, single page is fine in Huemen 3.3.9.

    If I reduce the number of max posts a page to 5-7, the generated speed is back to normal, about 0.3-0.4 seconds. But > 10 will cause long time about 11-21 seconds.

    How can I debug?

    You can try using the load images on scroll option.

    Appearance -> Customize -> Advanced options -> Peformances and SEO
    Find the setting -> load images on scroll
    Check to enable, and Save your changes.

    This should speed up your web page loading.

    Or you can use a cache plugin.
