I have a slight problem with this theme. Front page gets waaay to wide, leaving a huge white area on the right side. This does not happen if you open a post, or custom page though, only on the front page.

Any ideas as to what may be causing it?

Blog in question is : https://testblogg.liveview.no/

(The install is WPMU 2.9.1, but there seemed to be much more people discussing this theme on this forum, including creator.)

  • yes, the homepage body classes provided by the theme are missing. one of them controls the page width.

did you do any changes to the code, or maybe it’s a plugin interfering?

Feel silly not checking that first, just found it unlikely as it only affected front page.

It seems somehow BuddyPress is interfering with the css.

    Resolved.

    Adding remove_filter( 'body_class', 'bp_get_the_body_class', 10, 2 ); to functions.php fixed the problem

    looks like a bp bug.
instead of appending its classes, it overwrites them. weird that it does that only on the homapage
