I’ve changed my site over to WP Simple and love the look – if it would just load the new front page. The old front page is still active – even though I no longer even have the theme on my site. I’ve tried creating a ‘home’ page which I listed as the static front page. Didn’t work without the static page either. Also tried putting in a cache plugin and deleting the cache to see if that would work. the site is https://hardwirespeers.com

Hello – I am afraid I do not see the old website? Both URLs (with and without www) take me to the same website.

I was just about to post that I’d solved the issue late last night.

After a bunch of searching I finally found a clue that it was to do with the server cache – which was odd because I didn’t have a cache plugin running when I installed everything. But a clue in on the responses to their post (it wasn’t on www.remarpro.com) mentioned the .htaccess file – so I went in with ftp, cut out all the text, saved the file – then pulled up my site with a browser that was stuck on the old theme for the front page, and loaded it successfully. I then went back and pasted in all the text into the .htaccess file (for safety) and everything seems to be running fine.

    Weird, but it works.

Sounds great, glad you figured it out.
