• Hello there!
    First of all big thanks for such a great theme!
    Ok, Twenty Seventeen theme introduces supporting of sections on the front page consists of individual pages. This innovation opens possibilities for creating powerful pages for businesses with many different information at a glance.
    But is there a possibility to change color of these sections on the front page from edge to edge (of the screen)? Because without color differentiation it is difficult to read different information from entire page.
    For example header, about, contact form, map – all there sections will be on white background. But it will be great to select one background color for about, other for contact form and third for map sections. Mmm???
    Thanks in advance!

  • right now, there is no option to set a panel background color from within ‘Customize’ neither under ‘colours’ nor under ‘theme options’;

    you could add colors manually by using CSS via ‘Additional CSS’;

    example:

    .twentyseventeen-panel:first-child { background: green; } /*actual front page content*/
    #panel1 { background: red; } /*Front Page Section 1 Content*/
    #panel2 { background: pink; } /*Front Page Section 2 Content*/

    Hello, Michael! You are amazing! Your method works like a charm! Thank you a lot! ??

    Is there a way to make these text panels have a transparent background, so that as the user scrolls the panel up, only the text appears to move, since there would only be an invisible background?
