I am in the process of setting up WP-Forge for use with LearnDash. However, the option for a Front Page Section does not show up in the customization menu. I do want to have a static front page. Any assist would be appreciated.

    WP v4.6.1
    WP-Forge v6.2.3.1
    LearnDash LMS v2.3.0.1
    LearnDash ProPanel v1.5.4

  • Creating a static front page through the customization menu isn’t your only option. It can also be done by navigating in your admin panel to Pages -> Creating a template page for your homepage -> Navigating to Settings -> Selecting your template as the homepage and selecting it to be static. This link also provides a more detailed walk-through if required.

    Hi there,

Sorry for the late reply. I used to get notified whenever a new support thread was started, however with the update to the forums I guess it was removed in some way. Needless to say I was never notified of your post. My apologies.

@rileybrook is correct, you need to create a page first. In the Demo Instructions (https://learndash.themeawesome.com/demo-instructions/) – there is a section titled “Let’s Fix The Front Page” and in that section it states that you need to rename a page that is already there, “(no-title) — Front Page”.

After you rename it, you go into the Customizer, and go to “Front Page Settings“, click on Static Front Page and choose “A static page” in the “Front page displays” area and then select the page from the drop down list under “Front Page“.

Once you have made your selection click Save & Publish and you should be good to go.

I hope this helps and again I do apologize for the late replay/
