    Hello;

    I’m very new to wordpress, and I’m getting really lost.

    All I wanted was to have a front page like the one on your theme page, with 3 across 3 down pictures showcasing my work. Then to have a seperate blog where I can post things I find interesting, like a visual diary.

    When I go to customise the theme and choose latest posts for main page, it shows the posts from my blog, one by one.
    I published a portfolio page thinking that might do the trick, but now I can’t see it anywhere.
    Do I need to create a new page altogether to choose as a static page for my front page? If so, how do I manage to showcase several items (3 by 3 like your theme page shows)?

    Please help!

    Kind regards;
    Z. Ceren Newman

    Hi Z. This is covered in the FAQ on the theme page:
    https://wptheming.com/2010/07/portfolio-theme/

    How can I make the portfolio display on the home page?

    Create a new page, call it whatever you like, and choose the page template “Portfolio” (on the right side of the screen in page attributes”. This will now display the portfolio on this page.

    Then under “Settings” > “Reading” click “Front page displays” a static page. Then select the page you just created that has the portfolio.
