• I’m running WP4.5.2 and have never had this issue before.

Unless I’m logged in the site will no longer update with ANY changes.

This started happening whilst I was editing a page, not installing plugins etc.

For example I have a Page called Home. I edit this and update. In the same browser session the change appears.

If I open an incognito window or another browser the previous version is showing.

I’ve disabled ALL plugins, the same problem occurs.

    It’s NOT browser caching.

I’ve NEVER installed a caching plugin.

    Can anyone help

    Jim

    Something’s caching somewhere.

    What’s your site’s URL?

    ***UPDATE***

Oddly in any browser if I manually type in a URL deep link to a page eg (www.myWPsite.com/contact the LATEST version of that page displays, however if I type the deep link of the nominated Front Page (eg https://www.myWPsite.com/home) it shows the OLD version of the Home page.

I’ve tried changing the Front Page in the Settings>Reading to another page and the same thing happens to THAT page – it no longer updates.

    Can anyone help?

Jim: Please respond with your site’s URL. Without that, I cannot help.

I’d switched theme to 2015 and then reactivated my theme and now the 2015 version of the home page is cached (except where I’m logged in..)

I’ve tried from a different PC and also from a smartphone (on 4G) and I can still only see the OLD 2015 Theme version of the homepage….

when I fetch your site, these are the headers. That last one — served from cache — says something’s doing caching. You might check with your hosting company to see if they’re trying to do you a favor

    Thanks!

Turns out my host has recently introduced auto caching… switched it off and it all works.

    Cheers!
