front page not showing new posts this year…

  • Ok. I’ve had a hunt in the forums and this seems to happen to people from time to time, but there are no solutions that fit my case, or for many of the posts I have found on this..

    Basically new posts I make are in the database and I can access the pages directly, or from other parts of the blog..

    But, the front page simply does not update any more since the end of 2008.

    The front page seems totally unaware of 2009. The date menu simply stops at December 2008, unless I go manually to a newer page, in which case the date menu is up to date and I can read the page in question..

    I have tried a clean-up and update to the latest wordpress install.
    I have also tried changing themes, killing and deleting plugins etc.

    For the time being I have forced my front page to the latest post I made.

    Where else can I look to solve this problem?

    Interesting this is so old, I’m having the problem now in 2010 with only my 2009 posts showing, I can navigate to the more recent posts in the archive, and can force them to show via making it sticky but it will not show 2010 posts under most recent, I have 2 2010 posts so far at: kristinbennett.com, you’ll notice only 1 is visible (that is the one I made sticky)
