Front page not in default language with Polylang

    Hi!
    I use the plugin Polylang to display my blog in German (default language) and English. I recently started having the problem that when I enter/click the default address of my blog (without any suffixes), I am automatically redirected to the English main page. When I then try to change the language to German I end up back on the English main page with the suffix /en/. Funnily enough, this only happens sometimes, and only on the main page, all other pages and posts work fine in both versions.
    My home page is set to “your recent posts” and is not static.
