‘Front page’ not found in pages list in dashboard

    My front page is not visible in my pages list, i think it was created in the built in editor for wordpress (gutenberg). I want to edit it with elementor plugin but this is not possible if it doesnt show up on my pages list.

    I dont know why the ‘front page’ does not appear on my pages list. I can only see it in the gutenberg editor where I do see it in the corresponding pages and templates tabs.

    Im not sure if this is because the front page is a special kind of template?

    The reason for all this is because im finding the front page + navigation menu is not very compatible with mobile and I cant seem to make adjustments in the gutenberg editor for mobile alone (all edits affect both desktop and mobile).

    I can not currently load your site but based on what you’ve described, it sounds like your current front page is set to display your latest posts. This is a default WordPress setting where the front page is dynamically generated to show your most recent blog entries, rather than a static page. Therefore, it doesn’t appear in the Pages list as an individual page that you can edit with Elementor.

    To edit your front page with Elementor, you’ll need to create a new static page. Here’s how to do it:

    1. Create a New Page: Go to Pages > Add New from your WordPress dashboard. Give your new page a title like “Home” or “Front Page”.
    2. Edit with Elementor: Click the ‘Edit with Elementor’ button to start designing your new page using the Elementor editor.
    3. Design Your Page: Build your new front page layout with Elementor, including any elements you want such as text, images, and navigation menus. Ensure you make use of Elementor’s responsive design settings to optimize for mobile.
    4. Set as the Front Page: Once you are satisfied with your new page, you’ll need to set it as the static front page. To do this, navigate to Settings > Reading in your WordPress dashboard. Under ‘Your homepage displays’, select the ‘A static page’ option. Then, for the ‘Homepage’ setting, select the new page you created from the dropdown menu.
