Front Page latest posts – includes latest page

    Dont know when this changed to be honest – been a while since I added a page. However doing so added it to the front page display which is set to show “Your latest Posts”.

    I cant see a setting to stop this, what should I edit or set?

    Hi Andy, could you provide a link to your website?

    As far as I understand, your front page displays recent ‘Posts’ by default. But suddenly, perhaps after an update, the front page is displaying recent ‘Pages’ instead. Could it be that this is your first theme update? I wonder if your theme was modified to display ‘Posts’ but these modifications weren’t included in a child theme, so when the theme updated the changes were lost.

    Anyways, this is all wild speculation. If you could provide a link to the page in question I would be happy to take a look for you.

    Sorry its been a while – andyseabrook.uk – been a bit tied up
    In fact as you can see on the front-page it is adding type_nav_menu_items and other types if you go back through the lists!
    No its not the first time there was a theme update – at least I dont think so – its been in use for maybe 3 years?
    I have been on a Child throughout!
    I should add that I disabled all plugins – but this makes no difference!
