    Hi guys at Automattic,

Love the theme. Since the last jetpack update i’m getting strange blog looks: broken image thumbs on the front page.

Please take a look, I dont know how to describe it.

  • Hi ilushkin – sorry to hear you had thumbnail trouble after the latest Jetpack update. Did you decide to switch themes? I don’t see Pictorico running at the site above.

If what you saw is thumbnails that were too short and didn’t fill up the box grid on the front page, I suggest you try activating the Regenerate Thumbnails plugin and regenerating all your images. That should fix the height on all images whose originals are at lease 590px x 590px square, at minimum.

yes, I’m sorry I had to switch because of that bug. I tried to regenerate thumbs without any success.

Could you possibly link to a screenshot of the problem? Maybe it’s something different from what I’m imagining, since I can’t see it directly.

    Blue boxes….

Thanks for the screenshot. On those posts where you see some blue below the featured image, could you verify that those featured images are at least 590px x 590px?

No, they are not. I’m having trouble finding these sizes images. because of that I switched my theme, I guess.

Thanks for confirming. Featured images do need to be at least 590px x 590px to fill the grid on the blog page.
