Front Page Header Design Customization

  • Hey there, I am running Mesmerize Demo 2 and was wondering if you could change the background image of the presets of the front page header designs. I don’t like the pre-selected images and am looking to change them. If you could help me, or help me find where in the code I can change this please do. Also I was looking to add a third oblong button next to ‘get started today’ and ‘learn more’. Can you please help me with this?

  • Hi @jschramm23, you can edit all elements of the front page banner in the Customise option on your live site, this should allow you to upload your own images, change position and edit and remove any copy overlay too. It’s should be very easy.

    For the other things, when you’re in Customise mode, you can click the little pencil to edit or add any new elements anywhere on the homepage.

    I too am trying to change the photo a preset header. However, there is no pencil icon over the photo images. Is there another way to edit the photo in a preset header?

    You can change the header images using the Mesmerize Companion plugin, under the Hero Section. The Options for Background Type will expand to allow you to use images from your Media Library.

    Here is an example of how my install uses a slideshow on the home page header, and randomized headers on the posts and pages:

    I am trying to figure out how to add a link to that hero image you have, how can i do this? i dont see the option.

    Hi I’m trying to make my blog post title appear on my header front page on mesmerize. It is not a static page however I think I might have deleted the code for the blog post title to appear.
