Front page: doesn't refresh excerpts/texts of recommended pages

    Hi there,

    I have a problem on my front page.
    I use the option to show three images and short descriptions to navigate to recommended pages. Unfortunately the description under the image and the headline won’t refresh when I change the text on the edit field. It changes only on the preview and when I’m logged in, but not when a “normal” user is on the homepage.
    Also, when I don’t use the edit fields for the descriptions but the automatical excerpts of the pages it won’t refresh too.

    It would be great if someone helped me.
    (By the way: sorry for my poor English…)

    can you share a link to your site?
    Of course you’ve saved your changes right?
    Do you use any caching plugin? If yes have you cleared server cache (in that plugin settings)?
    Have you cleared your browser’s cache?

    Yes, I use the plugin W3 Total Cache, emptied the page cache – now it works. I was confused because it worked in admin mode, so I didn’t think of this possibility.
