Front page content not showing

I had to set the theme to something else to get it working. the site is https://www.thewheatsheafpub.com but, as I say I don’t want to activate analytical lite as it hides the front page content!

The Home/Front page should have some ‘lorem ipsum’ text and an image.

Hi not to hijack your post but I have the same problem and I have my site live with Analytics lite theme:
https://www.artistimpression3d.nl/

The problem start with the latest update of WordPress between 12 dec. and now 8 jan. All settings I did in Analytics lite theme where gone so I restored my settings only the front page content is gone.

And I cannot find an option to remove the thing that drops down with each images slider. Now it says some text like “Artist Impression 3D”

Would be grateful for solution obviously.

Now background image slider is not working for frontpage for some reason but is working on other pages, strange. Text on homepage still not visible.

i had a backup of the site available and restored it from that. have also disabled auto updates for wordpress. The theme is not compatible with the latest version of wordpress and the author is not providing any sort of support or feedback
