Front Page blog posts page displays posts incorrectly

  • I’m having a problem with the Blog Posts section on the front page of our site. The Front Page scrolls down to the the Blog Posts page and shows the latest 3 posts. The title and date are correct, but the content is run together. We begin our posts with a quote and then a header with an image identifying who is speaking in our conversation. It all works correctly in the actual post, but not on the posts page area of the front page. Here it doesn’t separate the quote and header from the text – everything just runs together into one long sentence. Is there any way to have the quotes and headers appear correctly on this front area as well so our text is readable?

    Thank you for your response. I’m hesitant to install it though because the plugin gives the warning that it hasn’t been tested on my version of WordPress. There’s also a review that says not to install on 4.5 or later as it hosed all of his excerpts and there’s no fix. I’m fairly new at all of this so I’m uneasy with taking a chance on something that isn’t tested on my version. Is there anything available for version 4.7.2 that solves the issue we’re dealing with?

    Can you send me an xml export of the posts and maybe the zip of theme and I will see what I can do… Email is forum name at Gmail.

    I have the xml export of the posts but I’m not sure how to do the zip of the theme. It’s Twenty Seventeen. Also, this is my first time on the forum so where do I find the forum name for the email? Sorry! I’ll get the hang of this soon I hope!

    I meant take my profile-name (salsaturation) and send me an email… profile-name @gmail.com so as to not expose my email address to the bots. I thought you had customised the theme… if not then just send me the xml file
