• Hi

Can someone help me please. Some of the posts on my front page, the words are all together. If you scroll down to “another new year” you will see all the words stuck together, but this does not happen on all posts?

    Can anyone help please.

    William.

  • Is it happening on any other post? That particular post is entered without spaces between the lines (for the poetry effect), so when the excerpt is created, HTML tags are stripped and this is what is left.

no it isnt, so this is why, thank you, is there a way of getting around this please, and thank you for answering.

You can use a Verse block, which uses the <pre> HTML tag (preformatted). Most themes style this with a monospace font to preserve white space.
You could put a space at the beginning or end of each line that you now have.
You could write a manual excerpt using HTML tags of what you prefer to see there.
