I tested all plugin version since 4.29 and for fix the switch plugin issue also the admin issue that I reported the only working version is the old 4.29

All next version seems to be bugged and has bug in admin dark side and also on the front end side. The only working version is 4.29 I’m reverting to that.

Since you released the version 5.x all version next and 5.x too are broken in front end and back end. I’m sad to have to use an old version but the new version you are released seems all updated but broken causing issues on front end and on back end.

All versions 5.X should be a beta version not released as stable as still have a lot of bugs that boke functions on websites.

Please note that revert back to 4.29 fix all issues on front end and on back end too.

Versions 5.0, 5.0.1, 5.0.2, 5.0.3 are all broken on front and on back end.
For avoid to have my websites broken on front and back end I reverted to 4.29 and now all work fine but you are forcing me to use a not updated extension and this is not good.

When a next release will be released my plugin will automatically update again. If the next version is also broken in front and also on back end I will need revert back to 4.29 again.

    ??????????

To me the issue seems not fully resolved ??????
As you can see in the following video the issue still be present in the home page https://app.screencast.com/vjnQpELv6DqnC

On incognito mode just load the home page, activate the dark mode, change the page then go again in the home page. The home page should be loaded in dark mode but is loaded in light mode.

The issue seems to be caused by the cache.
Could you find a solution to avoid the issue when cache is active?

Above i reported how you can reproduce the issue on my website using the cache plugin wp-fastest-cache but maybe the issue can be reproduced with any cache plugin.

If when the home page is loaded light but should be dark you add at the end of the browser utl ?nocache you will see that the page will load dark. The issue is when cache is active so maybe you need add some directive to not cache your plugin or cookie. Don’t know how you can fix this but the issue seems to be caused by the cache.

Could you enable this section and give it another try?

WP Dark Mode > Settings > Advanced > Performance > Exclude WP Dark Mode from CachingScreenshot

If I enable this the plugin works well for the home page and has a broken look to all other pages:

@mdibrahimk48 if i clear cache and i have the new dark mode function to not cache, the dark mode works but is broken everywhere, bad look as in the video. Maybe the new not cache function has some bugs.

    Hi, thanks for the reply.
I’m always using the latest version so let me check. The version installed on my Worpdress peopleinside is 5.0.6

If you did not find any issue this probably means you have to test a little better, your test was maybe too quick and you need take a little longer time without stop as soon you see changing the page is working.

Let me record again another video for you.

Thank you for providing this demonstration video. Our technical team is working hard to replicate the issue on our local site but still hasn’t succeeded yet. It may take a bit more time. Could you please share more information about your site? Specifically, we need the theme name and version, the cache plugin’s details, the WordPress version, and any page builder details if you use one. This will help us identify the problem and find a solution.

    Thanks your cooperation!
