Front End Sumbission Form

    Front end submission form is different on fresh install vs. my older sites that are updated. Most notably, the “When” section.

    The UI is confusing i.e.

    This event repeats ____ every ___
    day days week on weeks on month on the months on the year years.

    Need to simplify and allow users to simply choose dates if they don’t have a repeating event.

    and the date picker will not display a calendar. A user has to guess how to manually input the date and if they get it wrong i.e 03/22/18 when it should be 2018-22-03 you cannot submit the form. Too much guess work without placeholder text.

    RESOLVED –
    Settings > General Tab > Performance Optimization (Advanced) > JavaScript Files > Event Edit and Submission Forms

    I neglected to add the page number to the ‘Event Edit and Submission Forms’ input. Once I added the page number, the form displayed as expected.

    I will mark resolved.
