    Hi

Sorry me again! and sorry if this has already been asked but is there a way only members of the site can edit any record and any changes can only be approved by a admin member of the site? For example I have a editor who can make changes only via the front end when logged in, makes a change to any of the records and then one of the admin teams have to approve it before the change can happen?

    Thanks

No, there isn’t anything set up in the plugin that would use a workflow like that. The records don’t have drafts or revisions (like WP posts) so there is no way to roll back changes or keep drafts of changes.

OK thanks – that answers one of my questions.

Another is I am using the combo search however I cant seem to actually do a combination search. If you select “Alive”, “orca”, “Seaworld san diego” on this link https://cetacousin.org/cetacean-database/ only all the Alive dolphins are shown not the 11 as expected.

And another impossible question, is it possible to have urls to advance searches so example I wanted to make some pre-defined searches (using example above) and have a url to the central database? not using shortcodes.

Basically because our database is so large and there are over 650 dolphinariums worldwide, it is impossible to maintain all the pages and shortcodes (over 1000) and want to streamline it and make it more efficient and run as much as I can off the central database.

So sorry for all the questions

    Hi

I have fixed my first query (I had not ticked a particular box) and please ignore my last query.

However I do have one other one since. Is there anyway that if I selected a field, say “Alive”, then all the other options will only show values related to those records where status is “Alive”

Sorry – Ignore all above (wish can delete comments)
