I am using the back end manager to add events as administrator and the front end event manager for logged in users. Have no problem with date picker in the back end, but getting problems with the date picker in the front end form.
No matter what formatting is set in the Settings > Formatting > Date Picker Format, I am getting the same date format “Mar 11, 2019” in the “From” field, and the date picker is not coming up in the “To” field. Tried to enter the date manually in the from field, but the date picker comes up no matter what I do and sets it’s incorrect format.
Please advise how to solve this problem.

  • Patrick,

    We tried the following:

    1) In the setting, choose Include Search in the event page – that did not work.

    2) only use a search box – That did not work.

    3) use 2 short codes – still did not work.

We are wondering what else we should try.

I do think the EM Dev team needs to have a look at this for you. If I test this on my own live site, clicking “Search” redirects me to my events page (“agenda”), while the search form is on another page. No results are displayed.

It seems to happen with you as well (except the redirect, but that could be my settings) – in your screenshot it seems no results are displayed. You could double check that by removing the [events_list] shortcode, ensuring you that only results are displayed.

    Yes.

So Patrick, to clarify, in your test machine, you see something similar: The search box did not do anything for you?

I had done it without the [event_list] shortcode (my second one), the search box is not doing anything in that scenario too.

This is very mind boggling in that search box should come out function well out of box. I checked their demo site, the search box is clearly working there.

I have submitted a request to Wisdom Labs to get a quote for their customization work.

They charge a minimum $1000 to custom Events Manager.

I am sure Events Manager could do it far cheaper and better. I just do not have a place to submit such request. Our question is still not answered after 3 days.
